Our Name
We chose the name Batu Bulan Fine Arts Gallery as Batu Bulan is the most artistic county in Bali. Located between Sanur and Ubud, this county is the home to one of the most artistic communities in the world. Legong dancers and stone carvers from the village of Batu Bulan, goldsmiths from the village of Mas, silversmiths from the village of Celuk and painters from Ubud compose a rich and divers artistic community in one of the earth's most enchanting sanctuaries.

The Batu Bulan name was chosen because of its rich artistic beginnings and diverse content, be it in the stone carving, gold and silver smithing, Legong and Kecak performing artists and fine painters. It is the beginning of the wholeness of the artistic and cultural community in Bali.

Our company provides the best fine arts of Indonesian artists online and tracks the young and rising artists. Our company also serves as an auction place for special items. Furthermore, we can offer advice on art as a means of investment irrespective of its artistic value.

Principal Forward
My fondness for painting since an early age has been a privileged obsession. Early exposure through books and literature to the painters of the world such as Picasso, Matisse, Van Gogh and others, has immersed me in the beauty of painting. Only later in life did I have the opportunity to see the real works of art in Museums and Galleries and reinforce my infatuation with artworks. The opportunity to live in the Batu Bulan village and feel Bali's exotic spirits further captivated my preoccupation with Indonesian arts. Bali, as one of the important art centers of Indonesia, mesmerized me and impelled me to become actively involved with the Indonesian artist and art community. With the flock of new young collectors and the rise of appreciation toward contemporary arts, many Balinese as well as Bandung and Yogyakarta artists have flourished. I hope to expand the artistic appreciation among young art collectors while at the same time support the new and promising young artists to excel in the world.
